Call for Ratification of Second Protocol to 1954 Hague Convention
In this statement RASHID International calls on Iraq to ratify the 1999 2nd Protocol to the 1954 Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict. Iraq announced at the 20-year anniversary conference of the 1999 Second Protocol that it would ratify the treaty.
